1st quarter 2012: strong growth in the Poujoulat group's activity

 Despite a less favorable market and the climatic hazards that disrupted transport and construction sites last February, the Poujoulat group continued its double-digit growth during the first quarter of 2. Export sales were slightly down over the same period, due to an uncertain European economic situation and strong price competition.

The wood energy business has grown significantly thanks to the refrigeration industry and the expansion of our distribution networks. This business accounted for 12,4% of consolidated revenue in the first quarter of 1, compared to 2012% in 9,4.

All investments made in 2011 are now operational and will contribute to the development of sales and margins.
In the second quarter, we anticipate a slowdown in growth linked, on the one hand, to a lower number of working days than in 2 and, on the other hand, to elections which traditionally disrupt economic activity.
However, the development of exports and wood energy should stimulate activity.
