2 months saved on the construction of the Le Métropolitain building in Toulouse thanks to Rector prefabricated systems

In Toulouse, the high-end mixed-use building Le Métropolitain was built in 14 months instead of 16 thanks to Rector's latest innovations in collective housing.

The project manager and TREPASSO chose Rector prefabricated systems to meet the dual requirements of quality of implementation and timeframe for the project. The proposed solutions made it possible to provide a comprehensive RT 2012 solution in full compliance with the deadlines set:

• ThermoPrédalle®, the thermal bridging pre-slab,
• Latest generation ThermoPrémur®, incorporating the Thermo + planelle for optimized heat treatment,
• Pre-slab with integrated spacer, an intelligent pre-slab with stiffeners higher than those of ordinary pre-slabs, which simplifies the installation of the top-hat steels by eliminating the need to install spacers,
• Hat kit, including hat reinforcements and joint reinforcements pre-sized by the Rector design office and delivered with the pre-slabs to the site.

To deliver the systems to the heart of Toulouse, Rector adapted its logistics services to the specific requirements of the project. It was therefore decided to work on a just-in-time basis, with immediate unloading and installation of the delivered products.

In total, 580 m2 of ThermoPrémurs®, 550 m2 of Prémurs cages and facades, as well as 9600 m2 of pre-slabs, including 5300 m2 of ThermoPrédalles® Rector were delivered to this site.
