25 Bette bathtubs for the Le Mélézin hotel in Courchevel
A 5-star palace gets a complete facelift
After eight months of renovations, the luxurious Le Mélézin hotel, the Aman group's only address in France, reopened its doors in Courchevel last December. Located on the edge of the Bellecôte slope, Le Mélézin is one of the most fashionable addresses in the Savoie Alps ski resort. Designed twenty-five years ago by architect Edward Tuttle, the palace has undergone a complete facelift, overseen by interior designer Christophe Tollemer. Refreshed facades, redesigned common areas, and redesigned rooms: everything has been redesigned to make your stay unforgettable.
Noble materials and natural tones for a cozy atmosphere
Under the direction of Christophe Tollemer, the renovation was carried out smoothly. The architect relied on natural materials: raw stone and fine wood adorn the palace's rooms and suites. The thirty-one rooms were completely renovated, and twenty-five bathrooms were equipped with vitrified titanium steel bathtubs from the manufacturer Bette.
True cocoons, the rooms feature wood and natural tones of beige and pearl gray. The decor emphasizes noble materials such as oak and beige stone to create a natural and cozy atmosphere. Among the new features, the hotel has installed underfloor heating, Japanese toilets, and elegant oval bathtubs. Positioned in the center of the bathroom, they offer a breathtaking view of the Bellecôte ski slope. A magnificent invitation to relax.
Vitrified titanium steel bathtubs with a sleek design
The architect's choice was naturally made in partnership with the Bette retailer in Sainte-Maxime, the company Hydropolis. Christophe Tollemer chose the BetteStarlet built-in bathtub for its sleek design. It emphasizes the Zen and luxurious ambiance of the bedrooms and bathrooms at Le Mélézin. The architect entrusted the company with twenty-five bathtubs. BetteStarlet, an oval bathtub made of vitrified titanium steel, is integrated into a rectangular base with a shiny material. These simple yet effective ingredients have propelled BetteStarlet to the rank of bathroom icon. The bathtub's generously sized basin and its central drain system are also suitable for a comfortable bath for two.
"The perfectly symmetrical oval shape of the BetteStarlet bathtub offers a clear and harmonious design. It blends perfectly with the natural materials and tones of the bedrooms and bathrooms at the Mélézin."explains Diane Poteaux, sales director of Bette France. "Our vitrified titanium steel products are made exclusively from natural and 100% recyclable materials. Highly durable and timeless, our bathtubs and shower trays are highly prized by interior designers for the design of prestigious hotels."
