Acquisition of the company CM AFFÛTAGE by the company T&G DISTRIBUTION

The T&G Distribution distribution agency network, a subsidiary of the Berkem Group, welcomes a new company: CM AFFÛTAGE, located in Saint-Dizier, in Haute-Marne.

CM AFFÛTAGE was founded in 1995. Originally, Daniel MORAUX, its director, offered blade sharpening services and sold varnishes for wooden supports as well as consumables (blades, abrasives, glues, etc.).

In 2011, the company was taken over by Christophe MORAUX, the founder's son, who continued the original activities initiated by his father and expanded them, notably with the sale of woodworking machines and suction systems.

Today, a team of 3 employees provides all of these services (the manager and two sharpeners).
CM AFFÛTAGE caters to both professional customers (carpenters, cabinetmakers, machinists, metalworkers, printers) and individuals (for sharpening saw blades for firewood, hedge trimmers, kitchen knives, choppers, etc.).
The company's current operating area is 100 km around Saint-Dizier. Each day, the company meets the needs of 20 to 30 of its customers.

In 2015, CM AFFÛTAGE achieved a turnover of 350.000 euros.

To date, the T&G DISTRIBUTION network consists of 9 agencies:
Chalon-sur-Saône, Gap, Rennes, Saint-Dizier, Toulouse, Tours, Vaulx-en-Velin, Tongeren (Belgium) and Barcelona (Spain).
It specializes in the supply of products for the protection, preservation and decoration of wood, metal, glass and plastic materials, as well as equipment intended for professionals, industrialists and craftsmen, for the transformation or improvement of these materials.

The establishment of the T&G DISTRIBUTION network by the Berkem Group began in 2011, with one aim: to offer reliable service provision, in terms of performance and techniques, and quality support, adapted to its professional clientele.

The integration of CM AFFÛTAGE into this network allows T&G DISTRIBUTION to extend its coverage across France and diversify its activities.
Through this acquisition, CM AFFÛTAGE has the opportunity to expand its service offerings, client portfolio, and geographic reach. This new agency will also be able to draw on the Berkem Group's integrated services, including R&D, purchasing, QSE and regulatory monitoring, IT, logistics, communications, and marketing.
