In the era of new thermal regulations and the energy revolution, Indoor air quality (IAQ) in buildings is a major issue, both for the production of sensitive products and for working conditions and the comfort of occupants.
Only efficient equipment can ensure that the air treatment system maintains its performance. text 480 Thanks to its wide range of probes, it combines all the measurements necessary for the proper functioning of an installation. This multifunctional measuring device can perform measurements such as flow rate, radiant temperature, comfort measurements, turbulence and CO2.

Le text 480 has a concept of smart probes with a memory (EEPROM) intended to inform the user about the next calibration.
Measurement uncertainties are stored in the probe via software. The probe automatically corrects the displayed values based on the measured value to achieve absolute accuracy.

Metrological management of the equipment is simplified. Only the affected probes will need to be returned for calibration. The device will remain available for other applications.

To increase the efficiency of an installation while reducing consumption, thanks to its dedicated CTA menu, the text 480guides the user from measurements to environmental condition checks:
• quick identification of the measurement location thanks to the large format color screen,
• in permanent self-test, the digital probes memorize the calibration data,
• the new Easyclimate software, supplied as standard with the text 480, allows you to formalize intervention reports with measurements from the SD card or the device's internal memory (USB),
• the trackpad allows you to easily navigate through the different menus,
• measurements, analyses and rapid storage are carried out on site.

Air flow probes
Air velocity probes have been specially designed for duct measurements to verify the proper functioning of air conditioning systems. Some probes are equipped with a telescopic handle allowing them to reach the center of the duct or even hard-to-reach areas. Thanks to the graduations on the telescopic handles, it is also possible to accurately determine the depth of the ventilation grille and thus be informed during measurement campaigns.

At the outlet of the sheath, it is possible to judge the performance of extractors or blower vents. For comfort and ambient air quality measurements, the text 480 has a full range of probes.

To qualify ambient air and comfort parameters in workplaces, testo offers a wide range of probes: black ball probe, turbulence measurement, humidity and equipment/accessories to ensure perfect ergonomics of the whole.
