AGC inaugurates its new AGC Technovation Centre in Gosselies in the presence of His Majesty the King of the Belgians

On November 5 in Gosselies, AGC inaugurated the AGC Technovation Centre in the presence of personalities from the economic, political, academic and press circles, His Majesty the King.

This new AGC Glass Europe Center welcomes nearly 250 researchers, technicians and engineers dedicated to working on the development of new glass products for the construction and automotive sectors.

 

Designed with management of office spaces, laboratories and semi-industrial pilots promoting exchanges between teams, this AGC center also benefits from its proximity to a technological, industrial and laboratory park conducive to synergies between researchers.

 

The AGC Technovation Centre is set to become the AGC Group's global centre of excellence in architectural glass.and tool will stimulate the emergence of new glass solutions for our customers, while reducing their development time. The influence of our research will be enhanced ”, concludes Jean-François Heris, President and CEO of AGC Glass Europe.

 

Representing an investment of around € 30 million financed to the tune of € 8,9 million by the Walloon Region, the AGC Technovation Center is the work of the Assar Architects office.
