Alphacan, a subsidiary of Arkema and specialist in the design and extrusion of PVC profiles, has expanded its range of hinged shutters with a new color, industrial gray 7016, suited to modern homes with contemporary designs. Its Espace Clair cladding range has also been expanded with the creation of an invisible junction piece.

Thanks to its mastery of PVC formulations, ALPHACAN continues to innovate and is launching several creations this year:

  • A new color, industrial gray 7016 for shutters. This trendy shade, favored in modern homes, brings an inimitable cachet to current buildings. The latest addition to the ALPHACAN range, this new hinged shutter benefits from a matte finish with a grained feel, very different from traditional PVC shutters.
  • A new connecting piece for its “Espace Clair” cladding range which ensures the discreet fixing of the slats while allowing free rein for the expansion of the profiles. The aesthetics have been optimized by making the part invisible.

A NEW TRENDY COLOR, INDUSTRIAL GREY 7016, COMPLETES THE SWINGING SHUTTERS OFFER

In terms of finishes, the hinged shutter adds a touch of color to the facade. Alphacan therefore offers its customers two types of finishes guaranteed over time: veneered for a variety of wood looks and, on thick slats, the Alphalux finish for plain and grained looks.
The Alphalux range is now available in 7 colors including the new Industrial Gray 7016, which is in high demand for modern homes.

More than just a color, the Alphalux finish brings unprecedented performance:
a grained surface finish, a very elegant matte aesthetic effect and the traditional thermal qualities inherent to PVC. In a word, shutters of a new generation!
Very easy to maintain, these shutters with their state-of-the-art finish can be combined without restriction with other window materials and blend elegantly into all types of architecture, whether contemporary, classic or traditional.

These products are coextruded with PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate).
This "skin" that envelops the PVC gives the profile exceptional performance, including excellent resistance to ultraviolet rays. Visually, Alphacan has worked on the surface appearance to give the shutters a grained feel and a matte color that is very different from traditional PVC shutters.
Guaranteed colors over time, distinctive looks, and sophisticated slat designs make up the richness of the Alphacan shutter range. These advantages allow assemblers to have a clearly differentiated positioning on the market and a well-structured offering.
Alphacan's offering in the shutter sector is therefore complete, whether in terms of slat types or finish variations.

AN INVISIBLE JUNCTION PIECE FOR THE “CLEAR SPACE” CLADDING RANGE

Today, Alphacan is innovating by introducing an invisible joining piece for the cladding in its Espace Clair range. It allows for fixing while allowing free rein for the expansion of the profiles. Once installed, this piece is invisible and creates a hollow joint at the end of the cladding boards.

Alphacan's cladding range, Espace Clair, represents another important market for the company. Espace Clair is one of the only French brands certified by the CSTB's technical opinions. Alphacan is constantly expanding its range with profiles made of expanded PVC and rigid PVC profiles intended for cladding buildings and individual houses. This range also covers roof finishing needs. All materials used are monitored and certified by the LNE (National Testing Laboratory) and the CSTB. To enhance the façade, Espace Clair profiles ensure comfort, elegance, and safety, regardless of the type of construction. These products protect and ventilate the roof, the primary source of energy loss, thanks to their solid and smooth profiles.
Alphacan's Espace Clair range won't warp, crack, or peel. Finally, it doesn't require any painting.
