The principle is simple: the heat pump, whether integrated into the water heater or not, recovers the free energy contained in the air to heat the water in the tank. A wide range to meet everyone's comfort
Ariston's Nuos range of comprehensive thermodynamic water heaters adapts to all configurations. To meet everyone's comfort requirements, Ariston offers two solutions:
1 - Nuos, the stable monobloc version
Available with a 200-litre or 250-litre tank, it is installed in an unheated room with free energy (loss of boiler or household appliances, semi-buried or buried garage, laundry room, etc.) of more than 10 m2. Two connections are possible: without duct or with duct to avoid cooling the room.

2 – Nuos, the new split wall or stable version
The wall-mounted version is equipped with a vertical tank with a capacity of 150 or 200 liters. It can be installed in a small space (closet, pantry) for everyday comfort regardless of the available space. The stable version is equipped with a tank with a capacity of 300 liters. It can be placed on the floor for greater comfort in domestic hot water.

The right balance between savings and performance
Using the ambient air of an unheated room or outside air to heat domestic water, Ariston thermodynamic water heaters allow you to save up to 70% of energy compared to the consumption of a conventional electric water heater.
Operating only during off-peak hours, they also allow you to continue to make 32% savings on an electricity tariff.
Nuos and Nuos Split are economical, but also efficient. Operating with a heat pump in temperatures from -5°C to +35°C, Nuos Monobloc has a COP (coefficient of performance) at 7°C (according to EN 16147) of 2,59 to 2,79. The Split version has a COP at 7°C of 2,71 to 2,73.
This new standard characterizes the performance of a thermodynamic water heater based on a daily water consumption scenario and also takes into account heat loss from the water heater tank. It replaces the EN 255-3 standard, which did not take into account the product's performance based on its use by household members.
Incredibly efficient, they heat their water volume in less than 8 hours even at -5°C outside temperatures to offer a level of comfort identical to that of an electric water heater.

With a storage capacity of 150 to 300 liters depending on the model, the Ariston Nuos range meets the domestic hot water needs of a family of 3 to 6 people. They provide up to 549 liters of domestic hot water available at 40°C.
For optimal comfort, an intuitive control interface, with 5 simplified modes of use, guarantees immediate hot water in quantity:

•  Boost, the assurance of having hot water in less than 4 hours,
•  Voyage, for a worry-free departure on vacation, the tank is then put “frost-free” and hot water is available as soon as you return home,
•  Green for operation of the heat pump only,
•  Program, which guarantees hot water at the desired times. Ideal for large hot water needs, this function is only available in the split version.
