Batipôle Editorial
With less than six months to go until the opening of ARTIBAT, the leading construction trade show in the West, the program of events, conferences, and other highlights is almost finalized. Here are the highlights.
EVENTS IN CONTACT WITH SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Demonstration on airtightness, in partnership with BTP CFA Pays de la Loire, implemented by the BTP CFA Vendée establishment.
The aim of this event is to raise awareness and inform all stakeholders in the construction industry about the need to work together and sustainably to implement high-performance buildings in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
Full-scale educational modules, presenting the main construction techniques, will be presented to professionals during a demonstration workshop open to all.
The use of blower doors and smoke generators will reveal parasitic air leaks on construction details... and the importance of good design and implementation to ensure the energy performance of the building. The modules and the demonstration animation are based on a concept imagined by the CAPEB Pays de la Loire, developed with trainers from the training center for building apprentices - BTP CFA Vendée.
The modules will be carried out by the apprentices as part of educational projects.
In the interests of eco-responsibility, the modules will, at the end of the show, be reused for the benefit of the BTP CFA Pays de la Loire to train future apprentices in the proper implementation of buildings.
Finally, the execution plans and all the documents necessary for the implementation of the project will be available to any interested training center for the possible duplication of the modules.
C(h)améléon exhibition, innovative and high-performance materials
Innovathèque* presents, in an original scenography, a selection of 68 references of innovative materials that illustrate the "Chameleon" phenomenon, of mutation or even mimicry. To respond technically to this trend and this perpetual need for change and adaptation to one's environment, this exhibition brings together high-performance, astonishing and unique materials, which transform under the action of light, water, temperature, electricity and manipulation. Varied, clever and innovative material solutions for all creative professionals in search of inspiration.
*Innovathèque is a resource center for innovative materials developed by the FCBA
NEW: TOUR ROUTES

NEW PRODUCTS 2012
A guide, a route and an “expert selection”
ARTIBAT 2012, revealing new developments
From edition to edition, ARTIBAT has established itself as the benchmark trade show for the relevant and high-quality product offering it offers its visitors, reflecting a constantly evolving world. In 2010, 65% of visitors' main purpose for visiting was to discover new products, new trends, or innovations. Based on this observation, and to better meet their expectations, ARTIBAT focused on New Products in 2012.
The 2012 New Releases Guide
A jury of experts from the construction industry, journalists from the trade press, architects, technicians, craftsmen, etc. will meet in July to select the most efficient and innovative products offered by the exhibitors.
These products will be the subject of a guide - "the New Products Guide" which will be given free of charge to all visitors at the entrance to the show.
The New Arrivals Trail
A tour designed based on the new features selected by the jury. Dedicated signage will be present at the relevant stands for greater clarity.
The "Expert Selection"
Based on criteria related to the theme of the show, a new product will be selected by the jury in each of the sectors of activity and will be highlighted in a dedicated space located at the heart of the show.
