Walk-in showers are enjoying increasing popularity. Their flush-to-the-floor installation eliminates tripping hazards, and the bathroom gains in consistency and space. When BetteFloor, the first flush-to-the-floor shower tray made of glazed titanium steel, arrived on the market in 2006, Bette set new standards. The manufacturer is introducing nine new sizes of ultra-flat shower trays. These new formats open up entirely new design perspectives, particularly in the large-area segment.
"It's precisely in the high-end bathroom that the trend for large, comfortable showers really comes into its own," explains Sven Rensinghoff, Marketing Director at Bette. "These new formats fill gaps and even exceed the usual dimensions." The new dimensions for BetteFloor, the ultra-flat shower tray with a centered drain, are 140 x 70, 150 x 70, 150 x 75, and 160 x 70 centimeters. The ultra-flat BetteFloor Side shower tray, with an off-center drain, was designed by the design agency Tesseraux + Partenaires. Its new additional sizes are 110 x 80, 160 x 80, 170 x 90, 180 x 90, and 180 x 100 centimeters.
Vitrified titanium steel, combined with high-quality raw materials, gives the ultra-flat BetteFloor/Floor Side shower trays exceptional functional advantages: robustness, resistance, stability, aesthetics, and hygiene. Several colors are available: a multitude of sanitary colors and twenty-two specially developed exclusive matte colors. This wide range of colors makes it easy to coordinate with the bathroom floor. There are virtually no limits to design freedom.
For even greater stability and comfort, Bette offers optional partial anti-slip or Bette Anti-Slip Pro on all its trays. The increased slip resistance guarantees optimal safety across the entire surface. Barely visible to the naked eye, this anti-slip solution (classification B / R10, DIN 51130 standard) maintains the impeccable aesthetics of the shower tray. Bette Anti-Slip Pro can be combined with twenty-two exclusive matte colors or glossy white.
With the height-adjustable installation systems: Universal Integration Base / Universal Basic and the foot system, all Bette ultra-flat shower trays and shower trays can be easily and securely installed flush with the floor or raised. The systems offer great flexibility and at the same time effectively protect against damage due to moisture penetration.
The new BetteFloor and BetteFloor Side formats will be available in August 2017.
