To ensure that they install a system that complies with European standards, owners, who will have to equip their homes with at least one smoke detector before March 8, 2015, will find the solutions available from DAITEM installers.

They will be able to rely on these professionals to comply with the installation rules required by insurers and manufacturers, and to install smoke detectors. in suitable locations in order to optimize their efficiency, and install equipment bearing the CE and NF DAAF markings, compliant with European standards EN 14604 (2005) and AC (2008).

DAITEM recommends, for their ease of installation and use, three models of detectors that can be deactivated for 15 minutes to prevent false alarms:

-    The Autonomous Smoke Alarm Detector (DAAF): independent of the alarm thanks to a lithium battery that can operate for up to 10 years, it detects and warns with its audible signal of slow-growing fires that can smolder for hours and generate deadly gases. It is recommended to install one per floor, on the ceiling or at the top of the walls in high-risk rooms such as the living room, dining room, stairways, and bedrooms.

Le radio smoke detector : directly connected to the alarm system, it automatically triggers the control panel and the external siren in the event of an anomaly, with a sound modulation different from that of an intrusion. In the event of absence, the telephone transmitter allows you to contact the individual in real time and/or alert the remote monitoring center DAITEM.

-     Le radio heat detector : designed to detect fast or medium-speed fires and also integrated into the alarm system DAITEM, This detector is recommended for use in the kitchen, attic, storage room or garage.

Installers DAITEM will also offer their customers a complete range of complementary equipment of high design level such as:

- Le stand-alone carbon monoxide detector which emits an audible alarm when the carbon monoxide concentration reaches a potentially dangerous threshold and is installed in rooms equipped with a gas or other fuel installation,

- Lfire extinguishers available in two versions (powder to extinguish class A, B and C fires, or water additive for class A and B fires),

-    fire blankets Particularly suitable for kitchen fires such as a fryer fire; they can also be used to cover people whose clothes have caught fire.

Equipping all homes with reliable fire detection devices is a major issue for DAITEM, a benchmark among security professionals, which provides its customers with fire detectors that comply with the most stringent regulations in force.
