Review of the 5th edition of the Energy Festival in Burgundy

Co-ownerships made aware of the challenge of energy renovation

Dedicated this year to condominiums, the 5th edition of the Energy Festival was a resounding success in Burgundy. The four meetings organized this Friday, October 10, in Côte-d'Or, Saône-et-Loire, Yonne, and Nièvre allowed Ademe Bourgogne and Espaces INFO-ÉNERGIE to raise awareness among nearly 250 people about the importance of energy renovation. In Quétigny, Myriam Normand, Regional Director of Ademe Bourgogne, indicated that the overall fossil fuel bill in France represents €70 billion per year, hence the need to act and set ambitious goals. In recent years, various governments have implemented ambitious energy renovation policies, which should be further emphasized in the future law on energy transition for green growth. According to the advisors at Espaces INFO-ÉNERGIE, this work would result in an average 40% reduction in energy bills.

These four meetings were also an opportunity to hear from co-owners who had embarked on the adventure and to recall the sources of financing for the work, such as the national zero-interest eco-loan and local financial aid.. "Projects can be financed on average up to 60 or even 70% of the work." said Jessica Levy, advisor to the Espace INFO-ÉNERGIE in Côte-d'Or.

The INFO-ENERGY advisors then presented the tools available to co-owners interested in an energy renovation project for their home. The CoachCopro platform (www.coachcopro.comThis initiative, piloted in Paris, is now being rolled out in the Burgundy region for the first time in France, providing co-owners with free, personalized support. The platform is already operational, and condominium boards, property managers, and other professionals involved in co-ownership are invited to register and take a proactive approach to energy renovation. INFO-ENERGIE advisors offer various activities, such as themed visits and facade thermography, to raise awareness about energy renovation.
