CADIOU INDUSTRIE: first construction manufacturer to join the Brittany Brand
In a global context of competition between territories, the Brittany Brand brings together partners with diverse activities but all united around the dynamism, attractiveness and innovation of the Brittany region. Based in Locronan and with its strong Breton identity,
Cadiou Industrie is the first construction manufacturer to join the Brittany Brand partners.
For Emmanuelle Legault, president of Cadiou Industrie since 2007, "being a partner of Marque Bretagne is an obvious choice that stems from a very strong attachment to our region." In 1973, her father Ronan Cadiou, son of a carpenter who made gates, decided to take over the family business in Locronan, which he developed by making PVC windows and fences. Emmanuelle Legault is thus continuing the family history, which is inseparable for
she from Brittany.
With a rapidly growing turnover, this Finistère-based company, which currently has 270 employees, specializes in the manufacture of gates and fences. Ouessant, Auray, Rosporden, Kouign Amann, Evaël... so many names of gates evocative of the region
Brittany. "Made in Brittany," explains Emmanuelle Legault, "our gates must withstand wind and sea spray and are therefore designed to last. The materials and accessories we use are all rust-proof, and our traditional mortise and tenon assembly stands up to the elements. We are proud of our products and proud of our origins. The Brittany Brand is a modern brand with a clean, contemporary design. It also conveys the image of quality and respect for the traditions of our beautiful region. These values are ours," she says, "and fully justify our membership."
