While varnish is by far one of the most widely used finishes for its warm tone and high resistance to traffic, impacts, scratches, and abrasion, oil is increasingly popular for its matte, natural appearance. This highly penetrating finish provides deep protection, enhances raw wood, and offers a beautiful finish for trendy, contemporary interiors. As for wax, it highlights the wood's authenticity and warmth for more traditional and rustic decors, and also gives off a pleasant scent. All of these finishes enhance parquet floors and preserve their natural beauty.

To take care of parquet floors and provide interiors with quality, easy-to-use and durable products, Cecil Professionnel has developed in its "interior decoration" range HPX oil, CPX wax, and VX302 and VX303 varnishes benefiting from the European Ecolabel. To optimize the performance of these finishes, Cecil Professionnel recommends the application of a layer of PX302 Primer, a hard base that will seal the pores of the wood, block tannic rising and optimize the waterproofing and stain resistance performance of the parquet.

HPX OIL: a natural finish that preserves the beauty of "raw" wood

Made with natural oils and urethanes, HPX oil deeply nourishes, saturates pores and regenerates hardwoods which require regular maintenance. In keeping with the times, This water-repellent impregnation oil protects parquet floors against stains, dust and moistureIt durably preserves the appearance and natural aesthetics of hard and exotic woods. 



Intended for indoor use, HPX oil, which has a particularly high hardness, is ideal for parquet floors in living rooms and wet rooms : living rooms, bathrooms... High-performance, it offers parquet flooring excellent resistance to fouling.

Instructions for use: On old wood: Sand the parquet flooring white, remove dust, then proceed as for new wood. On new wood: Apply an even, thick coat with a brush or roller. Leave to penetrate for 20 minutes and wipe the surface with a cotton cloth in uniform, circular motions. Depending on the absorption of the wood, reapply a second coat after 2 hours. Maintenance: This varies depending on the level of wear and tear on the parquet floors. It is recommended to apply at least twice a year.

CPX WAX: a traditional finish made from natural wax

A high-quality polish based on carnauba wax, very hard and resistant, CPX wax nourishes and deeply fills the wood. Ideal for old and solid parquet floors, This finish gives an unrivaled warmth and patina, which highlights all the nobility, authenticity and natural appearance of the wood. After a light polish, the parquet benefits from a magnificent shine.

CPX wax can be used on all types of wood., and on new or old parquet floors. It can be used to maintain waxed parquet floors in all living rooms.

Instructions: On old wood: Sand the parquet flooring clean, dust it off, then proceed as for new wood. On new wood: Apply at least 2 coats with a brush, allowing to dry between coats. Allow to dry for 1 hour, then buff with a cloth. Maintenance: Reapply a coat directly to the parquet flooring.

VX302 AND VX303 VARNISHERS: high-resistance varnished finishes 

Respectful of people and the environment, the VX302 and VX303 Cecil Professional varnishes meet the requirements of the European Ecolabel. In addition, they provide a durable and highly resistant finish.

VX302: Varnisher for standard use in bedrooms and corridors

Odorless and ready to use, VX302 varnish is very easy to apply and is suitable for normal traffic. Compatible with all types of wood for parquet floors, It is ideal for children's bedrooms as it meets the European standard for "Toy Safety" EN 71.3. It therefore presents no risk of toxicity for children. 

Highly resistant to abrasion, shocks, friction, scratches and liquid splashes (40° alcohol, water, coffee, bleach), the VX302 varnish provides excellent protection for the parquet floor, increases its lifespan and improves its appearance. Finally, with its rapid drying, the VX302 varnish allows two coats to be applied in a day.

VX303: Intense use glazing machine

The VX303 varnish effectively protects all types of wood on heavily used residential parquet floors, staircases and interior woodwork subject to high stress. Its formulation, based on pure polyurethane resin in high-hardness dispersion, offers excellent performance in terms of resistance to abrasion, shocks, friction and liquid splashes. (40° alcohol, water, coffee, bleach).

Single component, the VX303 varnish is ready to use and very easy to apply. It has no odor and dries very quickly. : 2 coats can be applied during the day.
