Fischer SXR and SXS extended anchors
fischer meets safety standards with its SXR and SXS ranges of anchors
The Ministerial Decree of 13 December 2010 requires an ETA for plastic anchors if there is a risk to human life; consequently, cladding, cladding and coverings, as well as certain joinery (DTU 36.5), must be fixed with fixing systems benefiting from an ETA and therefore CE marked.
Following the launch of the SXR 10 extended anchors, the first nylon fixings (ø 10 mm) to have a European Technical Approval (ETA), fischer has extended its range with the diameter 8 and with the SXS extended anchor, which also has an ETA, a complete solution whatever the support encountered.
These anchors are intended for the creation of anchors for which the requirements relating to safety of use must be met, and the failure of which would represent a risk to human life or health.
SXR and SXS extended ankles
The SXR and SXS universal extended anchors, combined with their safety screw, offer excellent performance with maximum load-bearing capacity, regardless of the construction material (solid and hollow masonry, concrete, cellular concrete, hollow concrete block, etc.). They offer a wide range of applications, particularly for fixing all types of framework (fixing joinery, cladding, joists).
SXR
With the SXR, fischer has significantly expanded the range of applications for the extended anchor, as confirmed by the ETA. With an anchorage depth of only 50 mm, the SXR 10 anchor is approved for use in concrete and virtually all common masonry materials. The approval includes load and installation data for 42 different building materials classified according to NF, DIN, EN or masonry standards with specific approval. Thus, materials as common as NF concrete blocks or Monomur bricks from leading manufacturers have been tested and approved to ensure safe installation.
SXS
The SXS high-performance anchor has been specially developed for solid materials such as concrete, solid bricks, natural stone, and aerated concrete. It allows the fixing of rafters, facade frames, metal profiles, door and window frames, in complete safety and in accordance with current regulations.
Its quadruple expansion mode of operation guarantees previously unmatched strengths and maximum permissible loads. The screw, with a reinforced core and a mixed sawtooth thread geometry, not only allows the anchor to re-expand when subjected to significant stresses, but also to withstand high offset loads.
In addition to ease of installation, SXR and SXS anchors guarantee users safe installation, maximum safety in the application they are carrying out and full compliance with current regulations, regardless of the type of support (concrete, masonry, etc.).
