Annual convention of the Decopierre network

This annual meeting, which closes the 2016/2017 financial year, provided an opportunity to take stock of the past year's activity, future objectives, new products and training tools and, above all, to exchange feedback.

Confirmed leadership

With a turnover of more than 13 million euros and 122,750 square meters of hand-cut plasters produced in the 2016/2017 financial year, the Decopierre network and its 25 dealers are a major and essential player in the decorative wall plaster market in France.

This positioning is the result of the deployment that Decopierre has implemented over several years on the identity and commercial levels.

Its aim was to strengthen the coherence and motivation of the teams, to increase their training and professional skills and to include the activity in a national development policy.

The 2016/2017 financial year will have allowed us to recruit 7 new sales representatives for dealerships in Brittany, South, Bordeaux, Lyon, Centre and Charente.

Development of industrial tools

The DECOPIERRE® industrial development and improvement policy, developed in 3 stages, will enrich the powder production tool of the manufacturing plant based in Loir-et-Cher

(41). Starting in summer 2017, DECOPIERRE® will equip its factory with a new automatic bagging machine – in order to increase production capacity by more than 50 pallets/day – as well as a new wrapping machine and the automation of 7 silos.

New high-capacity silos will be installed during the second half of 2017. And, two lines will be equipped with automatic palletization in the summer of 2018 in order to increase daily production again to more than 40 to 50 pallets/day.

By placing the requirements of all its customers at the heart of its continuous improvement projects, the Vega Group wishes to persevere in supporting its dealers – who are also its partners; their membership in the network is truly a strength.

The exceptional activity of the past year and their leadership in the decorative wall coating market are proof of this!

In short, all the lights are green for the network to pass the 20 million euro turnover mark by the end of the first half of 2018.
