New sound level meters for Accord Acoustique

A few months ago, we presented the new features of Accord Acoustique's equipment (investment in 5 Wed Dosimeters allowing noise studies to be carried out at the workplace on several people simultaneously).

Today, the field of environmental acoustics is being provided with new resources within our design office. Indeed, it is often interesting to carry out noise measurements at several points simultaneously and over a period of several days. This allows us to work on the most representative sound sample possible. This advantage is particularly important at the beginning of a project, when carrying out measurements of the initial sound state. Indeed, a long-term measurement allows for a better assessment of the sound environment and reduces uncertainties in the input data for predictive studies. 

To this end, Accord Acoustique has invested in two new BlueSolo sound level meters with wireless communication (latest generation of 01dB Metravib sound level meters), an additional microphone line for the Symphonie acquisition system (2 channels), as well as two microphone lines for the NetdB acquisition system (12 channels). The design office now has 13 noise measurement chains, 9 of which are independent (battery-operated sound level meters).

Thanks to this investment, Accord Acoustique is able to conduct several long-term measurement campaigns simultaneously. Beyond the technical aspect of this investment, the increase in our material resources has the immediate effect of increasing our responsiveness in carrying out our studies.
