Cedeo, a professional brand specializing in plumbing, heating, and air conditioning, has decided to create a dedicated space for new energy sources within each of its branches. Through these dedicated spaces, professionals will be able to learn about and receive support regarding the development of these energies in the construction sector.

CEDEO LAUNCHES "THE NEW ENERGY SPACE", 100% RESOURCE-BASED SHOWROOMS



A major player in the renewable energy market, CEDEO is developing a new concept of showrooms entirely dedicated to renewable energy in its agencies:

"The New Energy Space." Combining a detailed information area and a product display area, the New Energy Space aims to raise awareness among professional and individual customers about the challenges of renewable energy. Currently numbering around twenty, the New Energy Space is expected to be deployed in around one hundred agencies throughout France by 2012.



New Energy Spaces, the result of a global strategy

The opening of the New Energy Space is part of a global approach initiated by CEDEO in 2008. The latter aims to respond to the

developments in the building market as well as raising awareness and supporting professionals and individuals in the face of the emergence of energies

renewables. It is structured around 3 axes:

· training (more than 400 Cedeo employees, salespeople, advisors, and front-line staff have already been trained in renewable energy in 2009, in the 3 internal schools of the Point.P Group),

· the product offering (the brand offers one of the most comprehensive offers on the market in terms of renewable energy: heat pump, DHW tank, solar, wood boiler, biomass, etc.),

· communication (publishing catalogs and selection guides, putting a website online, creating the Espace des nouvelles énergies, etc.).



New Energy Spaces, a concept 100% dedicated to renewable energy

The New Energy Space brings together, in a single location, product offerings and technical information on renewable energy. Located primarily in Cedeo agencies throughout the country, it comprises two separate spaces with a minimum surface area of 2 m²:

· the information space: 25 m² (5 x 5 m), it allows customers, thanks to a simple and educational display, to find out about the different solutions

existing. Specific signage in the colors of the Space simplifies location in the agency. Standing panels summarize, energy by energy

(aerothermal, geothermal, aquathermal, biomass, solar energy), the essential information you need to know.

· the product space: on a surface area that varies depending on the size of the agencies, each energy (water, air, solar, etc.) is represented by at least one product solution: air/water heat pumps, air conditioning, wood boiler, ventilation, photovoltaic panels, etc. For simplified identification and choice, the equipment

are placed on product displays classified by energy: thermodynamic tank for water, heat pump for air, etc.

Dedicated teams trained in renewable energy

In order to best meet customer expectations, sales advisors dedicated to the New Energy Space have been trained internally, within

of the POINT.P Group's three training schools. Selected in-store from existing teams, these salespeople have completed a minimum of 5 days of training to deepen their knowledge of renewable energy. They thus have the skills to inform professional and individual customers and support them, from the initial information gathering to the completion of their project.



A commitment charter for professional clients

CEDEO agencies with a New Energy Space are identifiable from the outside thanks to a window sticker affixed to the agency window, announcing to customers the presence of a showroom dedicated to renewable energy.

In addition to this space, these agencies also undertake to respect a charter with regard to their professional clients. Composed of seven points, this charter

meets the criteria for "certification of point-of-sale services for professional distribution in the field of renewable energy" launched at the end of 2009 by the

FNAS (French Federation of Traders in Sanitary, Heating, Air Conditioning and Pipework Appliances):

· competent advisors;

· technical advice and recommendations to determine the feasibility of the project with the client;

· support until start-up carried out either by a qualified employee of the agency or by a technician appointed by the supplier of the

material;

· product availability;

· information on “product and standards” developments;

· technical and commercial training provided by suppliers or schools of the POINT.P Group;

· sales support tools.



Rolled out in spring 2010 in around twenty CEDEO agencies throughout France, the New Energy Spaces should number 52 by the end of the year, reaching one hundred in 2012.
