ET 500 doors are tested to ensure a minimum of 250.000 cycles, a significant advantage for multi-family housing and condominium management companies. Thanks to the wear-free counterweight technology, ET 500 doors require only reduced maintenance for reduced maintenance costs.

Hörmann's motorized ET 500 doors open and close silently, thanks in part to sophisticated technology. With the ET 500 doors, Hörmann is committed to 100% safety. Split cables prevent the door leaf from falling back, and two sets of photoelectric sensors detect obstacles and protect anyone in the door's closing area. Two flashing lights signal any door movement.

With the ET 500 doors, Hörmann offers a powerful operator: the SupraMatic HT, a drive system for up to 100 parking spaces, is particularly suitable for residential buildings, hotels and office buildings, with a pull and push force of 1.000 N (peak force 1.200 N, opening speed of up to 22 cm/second). For multi-storey garages with more than 100 parking spaces, the ITO 400 FU chain drive guarantees fast and safe entry and exit.

Hörmann now offers the ET 500 door with a narrow frame structure: thanks to the low thickness of this frame (400 to 450 mm), the space next to the door can be used as a parking space.
