Acoustic panels in real wood for a Spa hotel
A forest swim at the "der daberer. das biohotel" in St. Daniel, Austria
Everyone knows that a walk in the forest has a refreshing effect. Like therapy, it reduces stress and thus boosts health. Bringing the forest into your own home is a crazy bet for a spa hotel. The Ligno Acoustique light acoustic panels installed at the "der daberer. das biohotel" not only captivate with their aesthetically pleasing real wood surfaces, but also impart a feeling of peace and tranquility.
Step by step, the owners transformed their former eco-friendly guesthouse in St. Daniel, Austria, into a major hotel complex in Carinthia. The design and architecture meet the highest eco-building standards. They focused on generous rooms for more space and freedom, as well as lasting relaxation. No roads run alongside the building: silence has found its kingdom.
Improved restaurant acoustics
Guests also benefit from this quiet atmosphere inside the building. The dining rooms are not only evaluated from a visual and culinary perspective, but also from an acoustic perspective. The designers paid particular attention to the forward-looking management of acoustics, reverberation, and the sound of the rooms.
The Ronacher architectural firm from the neighboring municipality of Hermagor has already expanded the hotel ten times and has permanently shaped its image. During the redesign of the hotel-restaurant, it equipped the restaurant, buffet, and bar areas with acoustic panels. Ligno Acoustic Light to improve overall acoustics.
Awarded by the label natureplus, all Lignotrend elements offer the highest quality of bio-construction. This distinction corresponds to the hotel's philosophy of creating an ecological complex respecting people and the environment.
Ligno Acoustique light: during meals, silence is golden
The interior design and furnishings are modern, timeless, and pure. In keeping with the colors of the walls and furniture, the panels Ligno Acoustic Light oak were installed in ceiling islands by the local workshop Schabus Möbelbau GmbHPlaced above tables, they guarantee perfect silence. They are equipped with integrated sound absorbers made of natural wood fibers and fine profiling.
The architects also incorporated these panels into the alcoves separating the kitchen, counter, bar, and restaurant. These narrow spaces, furnished with two or three tables, provide an ideal setting for dining in a calm and protected atmosphere. Here, customers are not disturbed by conversations from the next table or the sound of plates clinking together.
