Rector's Equatio® insulated floors for the Positivix pilot house
Designed by the builder Tradimaisons and located in Cournon d'Auvergne (63), Positivix is the first positive energy house in Auvergne to be labeled COMEPOS*. To increase the performance of this 130 m2 pilot house, which is almost energy self-sufficient, Tradimaisons chose Equatio® insulating floors from Rector.
Rector’s Equatio® flooring solutions were installed on all floors:
- the lightweight PrimoLight VS system at the top of the crawl space,
- the Equatio® Basement system at the top of the basement,
- the lightweight Equatio® Etage insulation system on the first floor.
Tradimaisons chose these solutions because they adapt to all the specificities of the site, in particular geotechnical and seismic regulatory requirements, in addition to being efficient, reliable and competitive.
*The COMEPOS research program, initiated by the Ministry of Housing and sponsored by ADEME, consists of building several positive energy houses in France to measure the impact of construction choices on home comfort, energy savings and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
