In order to protect against external threats, Daitem, a recognized specialist in the security and protection of property and people, offers two infrared motion detectors for outdoor installation that enhance the existing range. They are specifically designed for monitoring the perimeter close to the facade of a residential or industrial site in order to protect access points: doors, bays, windows, terraces, driveways, etc.   The Daitem 145-21X outdoor motion detector   It provides lateral and perimeter surveillance of facades. This detector emits, on either side, two series of horizontal infrared beams whose range, sensitivity and orientation of each are adjustable from 2 to 12 meters. These settings, coupled with the requirement to cross two beams simultaneously to trigger an alert, make it possible to adapt to any type of configuration and to avoid the risk of false alarms caused by the interruption of a single beam. Daitem 145-21X does not require any wiring because it communicates by radio with a Daitem alarm center located inside the premises which, depending on its programming, will trigger a pre-alarm (attenuated triggering of the alert means) or an intrusion alarm.   The Daitem 144-21X outdoor motion detector   Daitem 144-21X operates volumetric surveillance, i.e. two independent sensors each emit two infrared beams that sweep a horizontal angle of 90° over variable distances from 2 to 12 meters. Adjusting the sensors to 7 different angles, each spaced 15° apart, allows the strategic detection field to be precisely defined to be controlled and the areas to be removed from any surveillance. The two beams (one upper and one lower) of the 144-21X detector must be cut simultaneously to trigger an alarm, which allows the passage of a dog or cat. Similarly, the principle of a secure radio link between the detector and the alarm control panel Daitem allows you to modulate the type of triggering: pre-alarm (attenuated triggering of alert means) or intrusion alarm.
