Dirickx group expands and creates its subsidiary in the Maghreb

Dirickx Group, an international specialist in site perimeter protection, is establishing the headquarters of its subsidiary, Dirickx Solutions Maghreb, in Casablanca, Morocco. Present in the Maghreb for around twenty years, Dirickx Group is looking to structure and develop its activities in this rapidly growing region. Benefiting from an urbanization policy initiated several years ago by the government, Morocco is particularly active in modernizing its infrastructure. Following the expansion of its Mohammed V International Airport, in which Dirickx Group participated in securing it in 2008, today the TGV, tramway, and highway networks are being organized. It is in this economic dynamic that Dirickx Group is creating the subsidiary, Dirickx Solutions Maghreb.

On site, Michael Kobeissi, Director of Dirickx Solutions Maghreb, will be responsible for responding to the numerous security projects for industrial sites, communities, and factories, and for monitoring construction sites, while respecting the quality guarantees of the group's products and services. Dirickx Solutions Maghreb will also provide after-sales service thanks to its geographical proximity. In a country where building security is achieved through the construction of walled enclosures, the challenge for Dirickx Solutions Maghreb is to successfully establish its expertise as a fencing specialist.

Dirickx Solutions Magrehb currently relies on around twenty installation specialist partners in Marrakech, Tangier, Casablanca, and Rabat, and aims to double this number within two years. To better promote its expertise, the subsidiary is offering
multi-day training sessions for team leaders to familiarize them with the fencing culture and thus expand its network. Ultimately, within 3 years, the new subsidiary aims to establish itself geographically in numerous African countries, ranging from the Maghreb to Mauritania.

Founded in 1921 in Congrier, Mayenne (53), the Dirickx Group quickly acquired an international dimension. After successive establishments in Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom in the early 90s, the Dirickx Group was, in 2003, one of the first French companies to export its assets to China.

Its Chairman and CEO, Jacques Dirickx, twice received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2005 and 2007, which recognizes business leaders for their performance in growth, profitability and innovation.

In 2009, the Dirickx Group, which employs 1 people worldwide through its 165 subsidiaries abroad and its 7 agencies spread throughout France, achieved a consolidated turnover of 30 million euros in 2009.
