From shower tray to slab: Bette revolutionizes the shower space

Ever flatter shower tiles. With BetteAir, the world's first tile made from vitrified titanium steel, Bette completes the evolution of the shower tray. It now blends seamlessly into the floor and is virtually invisible. The tile's flush installation represents a true revolution in bathroom architecture. It can be glued directly onto the screed like standard tiles.

The new BetteAir shower panel

Never before has such a flat, glazed titanium steel shower tray become an integral part of the bathroom floor. The bathroom element manufacturer has named this shower tray BetteAir in reference to the purity of its design and its revolutionary installation. Bette's developers reduced the height of the robust titanium steel edge to just ten millimeters, which corresponds to the average thickness of a large tile. The corners with a radius of eight millimeters also blend perfectly with the tile pattern.

BetteAir : an ever flatter slab

Bette produced the first shower tray in vitrified titanium steel in 2006. BetteFloor heralds the new era of seamless, flush-to-the-floor showers. Today, BetteAir goes even further. This innovation completes the evolution of shower trays, which become part of the bathroom floor. It is practically impossible to obtain a flatter shower slab, at least without impairing the correct flow of water.

The minimum mounting height of Bette Air is only 99 millimeters. This feat required increasing the outlet to 200 millimeters. From the outside, the water flows through a thin, three-millimeter circular slot in the middle of the glossy surface. The flow rate of 0,6 l/s is more than sufficient for a high-flow "rain effect" shower. The glazed drain cover is perfectly flat, so there is no visible or noticeable difference from the surrounding surface. Even cleaning becomes a formality. The system has a drain fitting in which hair cannot get caught.

An economical and revolutionary installation

The real revolution is the flush installation of the shower slab. It is simply glued to the screed like standard tiles. Bette has improved its mounting bracket Minimum and the installation box to ensure proper mounting BetteAir at ground level. The solution, pre-assembled in the factory, is delivered ready to install. This system plug-and-play makes the work of tilers and installers easier and reduces both the number of workers and the cost of the site. BetteAir can also be installed using Bette's proven universal mounting system for added flexibility.

The shower slab BetteAir is available in eight sizes from 900 x 900 to 1400 x 1000 millimeters. Customers can therefore create showers of all sizes, from the small standard size to the XL surface for maximum showering pleasure, alone or as a couple.
