Bringing together various equipment solutions for controlling temperature, relative humidity, brightness, setting adjustment and presence detection, the EasySens range is self-powered and therefore does not require no battery, no battery, no mains power. Based on EnOcean® technology, this range pushes the boundaries of home automation and opens up new perspectives with ease.
Quick installation and savings: No more lengthy and complicated wiring operations; the sensor is simply positioned in the appropriate location. This results in savings in time and materials, which are welcome in terms of cost control.
In addition to the economic aspect, this total flexibility proves invaluable when cabling is impossible or too complex. For example, when partitioning spaces in administrative buildings or renovating listed buildings that prohibit any structural modifications.
The EasySens system can be easily combined with equipment from other manufacturers.
Power and Reliability: The transmission is interference-free in the 868 MHz frequency band (also available in 315 MHz) and the user can rely on secure transmission at minimal transmission power (10 mW). The range is up to 30 m in a building and up to 300 m in open space. Furthermore, the system operates without a power supply, so it requires virtually no maintenance.
The systems are equipped with, among other things, LON EIB / KNX, RS485, BACnet or Micronet communication interfaces and serve as a gateway for connection to building management and supervision systems. Connection to bus systems is seamless.
Combined with BELIMO products, the EasySens range introduces new applications for smart buildings.
EnOcean® technologyEnOcean® wireless sensors power themselves by collecting and storing every last bit of energy from their environment. For example, the energy from a switch action or the brightness of lights generates enough energy to allow them to transmit signals wirelessly over a distance of up to 300 meters. The secret lies in the signal duration; the entire process takes no more than a thousandth of a second.
EnOcean® technology means that each functional node has its own processor that detects measured data, such as energy management controls, ensures wireless transmission, and can make its own decisions. A major advantage is that the rest of the installation continues to operate even if one component fails.
