ECODIS presents the first natural lighting vault with thermal break

Premium Ecofil is the first natural daylighting vault with a thermal break. With a heat loss coefficient (Uw) of 0.8 W/m2.k, it is also the most efficient in its category.

It ensures excellent light transmission and contributes to reducing the building's energy consumption. Made primarily of PVC, aluminum, and steel, this product promotes access to energy performance labels such as BBC. Developed in two versions (i and ih), Premium Ecofil adapts to the needs of tertiary, industrial, and commercial buildings, with adjustable insulation levels. Whether for new construction or renovation, the installation of this vault guarantees a "high thermal performance" roof.

Unparalleled thermal insulation! Guaranteed energy efficiency

The Premium Ecofil vault combines the benefits of efficient natural lighting with very high thermal insulation. Thanks to the use of hollow chamber aluminum profiles, PVC thermal breakers and the addition of 100 mm of insulation on the upstand (compared to 15 mm in the standard version), the design of this vault leaves no room for heat dispersion and ensures the best Uw values on the market.

A unique vault with multiple filling options

The 12 alveolar polycarbonate (PCA) filling options from 16 to 32 mm provide adjusted natural lighting as well as high-performance thermal and acoustic insulation. The Premium Ecofil is currently the only natural lighting vault on the market that can accommodate such a high filling thickness. The combination of the filling elements and the vault structure provides unparalleled insulation. The 32 mm PCA filling combined with Ecodis AeroTech® (derived from Cabot Aerogel aerogel technology) gives the Premium Ecofil the best heat loss coefficient on the market.

Ih, a very high insulation version

With an additional thickness of insulation (polyurethane foam), the ih version of Premium Ecofil, for "Insulation High", is essential for reinforced insulation. The reduction of heat exchange in the lower part of the vault is made possible thanks to this additional element integrated into the frame profiles. The Uw coefficient is thus improved by 10% compared to the standard version (i).

Reinforced airtightness

The EPDM gaskets between the frame and the steel curb provide an optimal connection between the roof and the waterproofing membrane. Heat loss is also reduced thanks to the continuous PVC profiles located in the frame area, which prevent air circulation. The 6° overhang of the long sides is useful for perfect condensation drainage.

Maximum resistance

An S320 steel curb and a zinc alloy load-bearing block allow for a very even distribution of the weight of the structure and the PCA infill. The load transfer takes place on the curb, thus providing high resistance of the vault to high snow or wind loads.

With its meticulous finishes, both exterior and interior, the Premium Ecofil offers designers great architectural freedom. This natural lighting vault, with its fluid design, blends harmoniously into the roof and enhances the overall aesthetics of the buildings.
