EDILTECO® FRANCE RECEIVES TWO LABELS

For this new edition, numerous products were selected and submitted to online voting by more than 250.000 companies and 30.000 specifiers (architects, project managers, design offices, economists, interior designers, etc.) who are invited to evaluate the materials according to very specific criteria: innovation, performance and quality, etc.

The PROTHERM LIGHT®

Lightweight, thermally insulating premixed coating, obtained by mixing virgin EPS beads, hydraulic binders and special additives. With a density of 300 kg/m3, this coating is the lightest on its market. For internal and/or external use, PROTHERM LIGHT® can be applied to a wide range of substrates: from structural elements (concrete columns, steel, etc.) to walls and ceilings of buildings.

Its application on supports as varied as steel, brick, traditional and prestressed reinforced concrete, allows it to be used in buildings for both civil and industrial use. Containing no fiber, this solid mortar (once dry) does not disintegrate when touched, and therefore has a high stability and durability.

During exposure to fire, the coating absorbs heat in depth and the polystyrene beads disappear (or melt) without any flame or smoke emission. Compliant with EN 13381; it also holds the European ETE -18/1111 approval. Reinforced mechanical and impact resistance characteristics: 0,97 N/mm² under compression. Excellent thermal insulation capacity (λ = 0,079 W/mK).

The XXs® CHAPE

Compatible with all floor coverings, this screed is intended for interior and exterior applications, it allows the insulation and acoustic treatment of different types of existing supports in apartment buildings and individual houses in new or renovated work.

Thanks to its lightness, LA CHAPE XXs® does not overload structures. The density of the mixture - 1200 kg/m3 - is twice as light. It can be implemented from a low thickness: 1 cm in bonded installation on concrete, 2 cm in detached installation on wood, 5 cm on SCAM ≤ 0,5 cm including beyond any element embedded in LA CHAPE XXs® (ducts, pipes, etc.). Possibility of direct installation of a ceramic coating after 24 hours.

Compliant with NF EN 13813: CT-C12-F6 Reaction to fire (NF EN 13501): A1 (M0) incombustible, it also benefits from a level of emission of volatile substances in indoor air: A+ “very low emissions” according to the decree of 19/04/2011.

This product offers a weight saving of approximately 50% compared to a traditional screed. Sound reduction performance = 17 dB in 5 cm thickness for effective absorption of impact noise (heels, falling objects, moving furniture, etc.).
