EDMAPLAC 450: a unique system that simplifies the installation of plasterboards

• The main advantage of the EDMAPLAC 450 is that it can effortlessly lift plasterboards regardless of their final destination: horizontal for ceiling installation, inclined for slope installation or vertical for wall installation.

• High-performance, the EDMAPLAC 450 can lift all sizes of platest up to 4,50 m horizontally thanks to its integrated extension and up to 6,25 m vertically with a standard 2,50 m plate. Robust, it can support a maximum load of 80 kg (standard weight of a 120 x 250 x 12,5 cm plate: 29 kg).

• Equipped with 3 wheels, 2 of which have brakes, as well as folding feet, the EDMAPLAC 450 can pass through doors and obstacles on the construction site without any difficulty.

• Its ergonomic design and two-material handle ensure a comfortable grip and allow the plate holder to be tilted with ease.

• EDMAPLAC 450 has of a wooden platform acting as of foot to screw the plate to the ceiling and allowing you to place the tools so that they are within easy reach.

• To ensure user safety, the EDMAPLAC 450 is equipped with a dual braking system (main brake and safety brake) allowing rapid and controlled lowering of the plate holder.

• The EDMAPLAC 450 is CE certified and approved as complying with the health and safety requirements of the European "MACHINES" directive - 2006/42/EC by the VERITAS office.

The EDMA design office developed the EDMAPLAC 450 to reduce musculoskeletal disorders linked to the installation of plasterboard at height. For this purpose, the EDMAPLAC 450 has a patented rack and pinion lifting system that reduces the effort required for manual operation. It can also be operated by adapting a screwdriver, so that the plate can be lifted effortlessly.

Unlike plate lifters equipped with winches, the EDMAPLAC 450 does not produce any noise pollution on construction sites, which makes it more comfortable to use.
