Erlus: Roof insulation and energy savings in line with RT 2012

26 models of terracotta tiles available in 20 colors

With a renovated roof, energy savings can reach 25%, so roof insulation is a significant factor. As a manufacturer of clay tiles and ceramic flues, Erlus places RT 2012 at the heart of its product offering. The manufacturer offers 26 tile models for construction and renovation. With the curved models E 58 S, E 58 SL, E 58 PLUS, Hohlfalz SL, the more contemporary Reform SL tile, and the large double-notched interlocking tile, Erlus offers six solutions specifically designed for roof renovation. These clay tiles are available in 20 colors, from natural red to anthracite, including noble engobe coatings. In addition, Erlus offers the E 58 S with the Erlus Lotus ® function, the first self-cleaning clay tile.

Flue systems for trivalent heating

RT 2012 must also be taken into account when choosing efficient heating systems. With duct systems Triva® and Triva® XL, Erlus offers a smart solution. A

Trivalent heating can generate heat by using a solar installation, a central heating system and a stove simultaneously or separately. This type of duct allows the heating device to operate independently of the ambient air. Optimized for "blower door" infiltration tests, these duct systems are therefore perfectly suited to low-energy buildings (BBC).

Erlus Triva® Kombi, a compact and innovative system

With its external dimensions of 38 x 62 cm, Erlus Triva® Kombi takes up little space. The combustion air is pumped through a special device at the crown slab and passes through a space between the insulation of the ceramic flue pipe and the flue. It then ends up in the fireplace. Rainwater cannot seep into the flue. The permanently free technical duct can be used to pass the pipes of a solar installation.

Thanks to the use of an 8 cm diameter overpressure flue, Erlus Triva® Kombi guarantees the use of the latest condensing heating technologies - gas or oil. In this case, the flue is not insulated (heat exchanger effect), the combustion air is thus preheated.

With an intelligent return of condensed water, the efficiency of the condensing heater is increased. A second 16 cm LAF (laminar air flow) duct, independent of the ambient air, is suitable for the operation of solid fuel fireplaces, possibly with a water box.
