Underground network detector

As France's underground pipeline network continues to grow denser and requires ever more renovations, thousands of sections are damaged every year during construction work due to a lack of precision or lack of location. Courant provides a powerful solution to this problem with EureKfil, its electromagnetic detection system.     EureKfil, the detection of pipelines in plan and in depth     Courant's EureKfil system allows buried networks to be precisely located and mapped to avoid any damage during work. For a pipeline to be identifiable, it is necessary to affix the EureKfil tracer wire to its upper generator during its burial and to connect it upstream to a flush-mounted device allowing the injection of electromagnetic current and downstream to a loop via an earth connection. Then, it is sufficient to emit a low-intensity signal for the current to flow through the tracer wire and allow its identification and location using a receiver.     A margin of uncertainty less than or equal to 40 centimeters     The EureKfil network detection system guarantees the restoration of the pipeline route with centimetric precision (with a maximum location uncertainty of less than or equal to 40 cm) in plan and in depth (x, y, z axes). It thus allows for obtaining a class A structure in accordance with the anti-damage network regulations (DT-DICT of February 15, 2012).
