Excellent insulating performance with the new JACKODUR® fixing foam

JACKON Insulation has developed a new bonding foam for bonding JACKODUR® insulation boards. This solvent-free, single-component polyurethane adhesive guarantees a reliable bond, optimal joint filling, and effective insulation without thermal bridges.

Thanks to its bonding and insulating properties, JACKODUR® bonding foam is the ideal solution for bonding insulation and drainage boards made of extruded polystyrene foam (XPS). This adhesive is ideal for areas with high humidity, such as perimeter insulation areas or foundations. It bonds and insulates simultaneously, has strong adhesion, and is water-resistant. These properties make it a versatile universal adhesive for bonding and insulation applications.

Double protection without thermal bridges

JACKODUR® bonding foam optimally insulates particularly hard-to-reach areas such as pipe penetrations, gaps or joints between boards. It thus guarantees a clean and reliable surface finish. Thanks to its insulation performance, lambda of 0,0354 W/(m*K), the adhesive secures the joints between the insulation boards and eliminates gaps that cause thermal bridges. Easy to apply, even at low temperatures (-5°C), this adhesive can also be used in winter.

Easy, fast and safe installation

JACKODUR® Fixing Foam is ready to use for fast, clean, and efficient work. The nozzle makes it easy to apply to small areas. For treating larger areas, a glue gun can be screwed onto the adapter (yield: 16 m² / 750 ml). For optimal results when filling larger cavities, it is recommended to work in several layers with a maximum thickness of four centimeters.
