Summary for decision-makers

FAUN is showcasing its two Bionéa 7 and Bionéa 10 skips at Lyon Eurexpo, designed for collecting biowaste. Made from recyclable aluminum alloy, these skips incorporate technical innovations for chemical resistance, sealing, and safety, while also promoting ergonomics, speed of maneuvering, and ease of maintenance.

Bionéa 7 and 10 cover a variety of needs: from 7 to 10 m³ capacity and from 4 to 5,5 tonnes of load depending on the model. These solutions, suitable for both urban centers and rural areas, address operational and CSR challenges, with modular options to optimize local biowaste management.

FAUN, a French specialist in urban cleaning vehicles, will be present at the Pollutec 2025 trade fair, an essential event for environmental solutions, which will be held at Lyon Eurexpo from October 7 to 10.

Innovative skips and an eco-responsible stand: FAUN highlights the Bionéa range and its sustainable commitments

The Ardèche-based company will be showcasing its two Bionéa 7 and Bionéa 10 skips, designed to meet the specific constraints of biowaste collection, and will take the opportunity to highlight its CSR commitments. It should be noted that its 153 m² stand reflects this eco-responsible ambition, focusing on the reuse of structures and furniture, the use of recycled and recyclable materials, and exclusively LED lighting.

Bionéa: a complete solution for the collection of biowaste

Collecting biowaste presents communities and operators with specific constraints related to its chemical aggressiveness, high weight, density, and the significant amount of juice it releases. With the Bionéa range, FAUN offers innovative, robust, and ergonomic equipment that combines material strength, durability, and ease of use.

Made from Ag4 aluminum alloy, the box, shovel, and trolley guarantee total resistance to chemical attack, while being 100% recyclable. The smooth, double-skinned, 30 mm-thick honeycomb box, reinforced by continuous welds, ensures rigidity and watertightness, without the risk of cracks or leaks.

The curved shovel and the container lifter, capable of lifting up to 470 kg, allow a bin emptying cycle of just twelve seconds, while emptying the entire container by gravity is completed in one minute. In addition, the ergonomic controls, the speed of maneuvers and the reliability of the components simplify the work of the scavengers. Maintenance is also optimized thanks to an on-board electronic system for immediate diagnosis. Finally, various options, such as a 140 bar high-pressure washer, bin rinsing devices or weighing systems, offer communities great flexibility of adaptation.

Two complementary models adapted to all territories

To address the diversity of contexts, FAUN offers two models of Bionéa. While Bionéa 7, with a volume of 7 m³, can load up to 4 tonnes of biowaste onto a 7,5 to 8,5 tonne LCV, the Bionéa 10, with a volume of 10 m³, can accommodate 5,5 tonnes onto a HGV weighing 11 tonnes or more. These two complementary configurations provide communities with solutions that are perfectly suited to both dense city centres and rural areas.

With Bionéa, FAUN confirms its role as a pioneer in innovation for efficient and sustainable waste management, while reaffirming its position as a trusted partner of public and private stakeholders.

Frequently Asked Questions for Decision Makers
