The event was held in the presence of Serge Terrancle, Mayor of Bouloc and Vice-President of the Frontonnais Community of Communes, as well as Étienne Blaise, President of FAUN Environnement.
Acquired in November 2021, this site has undergone a complete renovation to meet the group's technical and environmental standards. Requiring an investment of €1,4 million, it now offers customers in the Toulouse region a suitable, efficient facility rooted in its local area.
Situated on a 2 m² plot, the renovated building covers an area of 700 m², with the possibility of expansion already anticipated thanks to the creation of a 625 m² slab. The workshop can accommodate up to four vehicles simultaneously. Eight employees currently work there, under the supervision of Jérôme Rosies.
This new center fully embodies FAUN's commitment to providing local service to its customers, while helping to reduce their carbon footprint through its optimized location. Improving energy performance guided its renovation, with enhanced thermal insulation on both the roof and facades, and optimized natural light intake via bay windows and skylights. The layout was designed for team comfort, with five offices, a relaxation area, and spacious restrooms.
Compliant with the most demanding environmental standards, FAUN Services Occitanie incorporates advanced technical devices: welding fumes and exhaust gases are captured at the source and then filtered before being evacuated; a covered washing area limits noise pollution and water projections. In addition, two hydrocarbon separators ensure the treatment of runoff and washing water. In addition, a 2-liter underground tank has been installed near the workstations, as well as another 000-liter tank to collect rainwater intended for watering the green spaces created on the site.
In a desire to harmonize with the local landscape, and in accordance with the wishes of the municipality, around forty trees and shrubs as well as more than 500 low-growing plants were planted around the building, which fits naturally into the Frontonnais vineyard. This choice of layout is reminiscent of the group's other locations, often located in the heart of wine-growing regions, such as Ardèche or Languedoc.
During his speech, Étienne Blaise, President of FAUN Environnement, recalled the ambition carried by this new establishment:
« This renovated center illustrates our commitment to supporting our customers as closely as possible to their local area, with responsive, high-quality, and environmentally friendly service. Thanks to this location, we are reducing the distances traveled for vehicle maintenance and contributing to more responsible logistics. »
