Functionality and sustainability: the new MEWA PEAK collection
MEWA workwear combines innovation and sustainability. The new PEAK range keeps the skin's surface at a constant temperature of around 37,5°C. PEAK combines 37.5® technology, well-known in sports, with the recycling of PET bottles. Its innovative fabric is elastic, extremely breathable, and temperature-regulating. It retains all its properties even after numerous wash cycles. The collection, consisting of jackets and trousers, is offered exclusively with the MEWA service system.

Work clothes made from PET bottles
The PEAK collection, developed by MEWA, achieves its unique functionality through a combination of different materials. These hybrid garments feature zones that warm or cool, as well as stretchy or protective zones. The polyester yarns used are made exclusively from recycled PET water bottles with organic cotton added. MEWA PEAK uses approximately 75% sustainable materials. This is another step towards preserving natural resources.
An effective barrier against the cold without sweating
PEAK is characterized by the combination of recycled yarns with 37.5® technology. Athletes are already familiar with this patented fabric. Its highly functional fibers contain activated carbon particles that absorb or wick away moisture and heat. During physical exertion, the active particles accelerate the evaporation of moisture produced by perspiration, eliminating heat. Conversely, the active particles store the heat emitted by the body. The skin's surface thus permanently maintains a temperature of approximately 37,5°C. This technology requires no additional chemicals. Even after numerous industrial washes, MEWA PEAK retains its exceptional comfort characteristics.
MEWA PEAK is designed for employees in industry and crafts. The ergonomically designed clothing adapts flexibly to every body shape: elastic inserts in the jacket and trousers allow for excellent freedom of movement. Abrasion-resistant reinforcements on the knees, elbows, and shoulders increase the garment's durability.
An environmentally friendly service cycle
With PEAK, the textile service provider is continuing its sustainable development strategy at the product level.« To qualify workwear as sustainable, resource-saving manufacturing and maintenance are just as important as their life cycle. says Mark Weber, Director of Product Development at MEWA. « The concept of sustainability must be integrated from the design stage. In the future, due to their high recycling potential, high-tech fibers will play a key role. for work clothes.
