Fonroche wins 63.5MWp in the latest French call for tenders for photovoltaic installations

Smart projects favored and a relaunched French industry

The FONROCHE GROUP, the leading French manufacturer of photovoltaic panels, responded to this call for tenders in 2 categories: large photovoltaic roofs and ground farms with trackers.
On large roofs, the group won 23 MWc of projects, all relating to photovoltaic greenhouses, of which the group is the French leader.

« The government has chosen technical intelligence by favoring this French innovation., because in addition to producing clean and sustainable energy, photovoltaic greenhouses allow our market gardening and farming partners to improve their agronomic performance. Thanks to this dual production, the development and strengthening of their activity is ensured, which will generate nearly 100 new jobs in the agricultural sector. " explains Yann Maus, founding president of the FONROCHE GROUP.

On ground farms with trackers, FONROCHE is one of the partners of the "Aquitaine Photovoltaic Team of France" alongside VALOREM and EXOSUN. This consortium has won 40.5 MWp of projects whose investment will be provided by VALOREM, FONROCHE and OMNES CAPITAL (formerly Crédit Agricole Private Equity).
Here too, the government has chosen to favor solutions based on the application of innovative technologies, while supporting the development of "Made in France." The experienced teams of this consortium are already collaborating on more than 200 MWp of projects abroad (in the USA, Africa, India and Eastern European countries) and are accelerating their international development.

However, this deployment remained subject to the consolidation of their presence in their domestic market. "This is a first satisfaction for FONROCHE and its partners, this first positive sign from the Government encourages us to continue strengthening our French industrial sector and demonstrates our capacity to develop large-scale projects in France. This gives strong credibility to our activity and the quality of our innovations on an international level. " underlines Yann Maus.

"This is an order book that, by complementing the national and international projects already underway, ensures two years of visibility for our Agen-based plant," says the group's president. Indeed, the gain of 2 MWp of projects allows Fonroche to sustain the 63.5 direct jobs created since 410 and to continue its national and international expansion.
