France Poutres presents its complete range of wooden structural kits

France Poutres, a designer and manufacturer of timber construction solutions, has developed a comprehensive range of timber structural kits, solutions that combine I-beams* with any other timber construction element. The company is showcasing its entire offering at the Carrefour International du Bois.

With the aim of providing ever more services, responsiveness and personalized solutions to its partners, which are traders, design offices, architects and carpenters, France Poutres has developed a range of wooden structural kits.

3 STRUCTURAL KITS FOR 3 NEEDS

Le Inofloor Kit or floor kit is composed of structural wood (I-beams, glued laminated timber, laminated veneer lumber, and solid wood) and metal connection accessories. Each beam is cut to length and numbered, associated with an installation plan to facilitate the implementation of the floor frame on site.
Le Inoroof Kit or roofing kit is composed of structural timber and prefabricated structures (traditional cut trusses) to create the framework for any type of roof (excluding industrial trusses): traditional framework, purlins, load-bearing rafters, flat roofs. Each element is cut and marked, in association with the installation plans.
Le Inowall Kit or Precut timber frame kit is composed of a complete study of the timber frame work (dimensioning and drawing up plans in Cadwork) and the complete debit (millimeter cutting and marking) of all the wooden parts making up the timber frame of the building. The builder only has to follow the plans provided to manufacture the walls and implement the floors and frames, without any cutting operations and without managing offcuts.
The technical study of this kit is covered under a ten-year warranty.

To ensure the design and manufacture of these structural kits, France Poutres has equipped itself with high-performance industrial equipment: end-joiner, planing line, K2I Hundegger machining center. The company can thus respond to any type of timber structure project by offering finished structural kits.

Delivered ready to install, structural kits require no storage thanks to just-in-time delivery, saving time and optimizing costs. Their manufacture does not require any cutting operations or material waste to be managed in the workshop or on site.

FRANCE POUTRES CELEBRATES ITS 40TH ANNIVERSARY

Founded in 1976 by Noël and Yvon Praud in the commune of Venansault in Vendée, the company France Poutres has always been able to develop know-how and technical expertise adapted to the growing I-beam market.

A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure du Bois, Olivier Chapeau, sales director since 2008, took over as president of France Poutres in 2014. Alongside Samuel Praud, general manager and head of production, and Olivier Praud, workshop manager, they are continuing the work initiated by their predecessors and driving a new dynamic of growth and innovation for the France Poutres brand.
