Among the new NATURE range, three models of household gloves (classic, long cuff and thick) are made of natural latex from fair trade. This is a deliberate choice by NESPOLI France, which actively supports the fair trade program set up by the Firstlight Foundation as part of the development of latex farms from rubber plantations in Sri Lanka.
The Firstlight program, by eliminating unnecessary and even dishonest intermediaries, aims to guarantee a stable market price for small producers, provide them with technical assistance, and help farmers and their families achieve a better standard of living.

A 100% natural and recyclable range
La NATURE range NESPOLI France also includes brooms, brushes, deck scrubbers, and handles made from 100% natural and biodegradable materials. Brushes use fibers of animal or plant origin: coconut, tampico, palmyra, horsehair, and bristles.
All the sockets in the range are made of bioplastic. The handles and bases are made of Landes pine and rubberwood.
In this way, non-renewable fossil resources (e.g. oil) are preserved.

Wood from the NATURE range
Using rubberwood is environmentally friendly because it is a wood that is not obtained through conventional logging. Indeed, the rubber tree, or hevea, is exploited for its latex, an elastic material that contributes to the tree's natural defense mechanism.
Rubber trees see their latex production decline from the age of 25 and producers burn old trees to replace them with young plants.
Rather than burning them, they are now being recovered and recycled because their high-quality wood is easily processed and reusable for everyday uses. The initiative to recover rubberwood is supported by the United Nations.
