New electrical control boxes for smoke extraction and ventilation

SADAP: Programmable Addressable Smoke Extraction and Ventilation System

SOUCHIER, a specialist in smoke extraction and natural ventilation systems, is launching SADAP, a new generation of electrical smoke extraction and ventilation boxes.

The boxes can receive and manage various safety parameters - smoke extraction or ventilation upstream and retransmit them downstream to the DENFC - Natural Smoke and Heat Evacuation Device, causing them to open or close.

Configurable and scalable, SADAP offers great flexibility of use in comfort ventilation and smoke extraction mode.

The integrated control device allows for rapid identification of faults occurring on the installation and an internal memory allows for rapid access to the history of the latest events that have occurred. The alarm information can come from a fire panel, a manual trigger or a DAD - Autonomous Trigger Detector for fire alarm.

The basic function, which takes priority over all others, is to enable the DENFC connected to the SADAP box to switch to the safety position upon receipt of a fire alarm signal.

SADAP is economical, efficient, compact and fully compatible with single-zone boxes (one line).

The new SOUCHIER boxes are available in two versions corresponding to the maximum value of the current that can be delivered by the boxes:

- maximum output current 3 A

- maximum output current 10 A

The advantages of the new SADAP boxes:

- presence of a communication bus for the ventilation function,

- log of the last 100 events,

- intelligent fault reporting,

- reduction of installation costs,

- easy maintenance and upkeep,

- reduced size and weight,

- configuration and controls by PC,

- individual addressing of boxes,

- operation possible both in transmission and in power outage,

- connection by removable screw terminals,

- complies with standard NF S61938 and the functional requirements of NF EN 12101-10.
