DIRICKX GROUP: Two new fences

On the occasion of EXPOPROTECTION, the Risk Prevention and Management Exhibition to be held from November 2 to 5, 2010 in Paris, Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte, the DIRICKX GROUP, an international specialist in site perimeter protection (fences, gates, access control and management and security) is launching two new products for the security market: the DE.FI.T 3 and T3D fences. Thanks to its PRO SÉ DÉ* skills center, the DIRICKX GROUP has developed and acquired know-how and real expertise in this sector.

DE.FI.T 3 AND T3D CLOSING

DE.FI.T 3: THE 2-IN-1 REPELLENT ELECTRIFIED FENCE

The new DE.FI.T 3 repellent fence is a 2-in-1 solution that simultaneously combines an intrusion attempt detector and a barrier that delays crossing. DE.FI.T 3 is an electrified fence made up of metal elements, stainless steel screws and polyacetal insulators. Its construction, integrating a set of elements (wires spaced every 0,15m) makes it a defensive barrier that is difficult to cross. Indeed, it provides a deterrent electric shock by emitting pulses of 10 volts with a pulse time of 000 us. It works even during adverse weather conditions. Its installation is easy thanks to posts whose length is adapted to the site's protection needs and are easy to adjust in height, so multiple configurations are possible.

Regarding its detection performance, DE.FI.T 3 allows for continuous monitoring of the wires to which the energizer is connected. 3 actions (monitoring) are thus carried out at the same time:

- the touch of the fence (wire)

- cutting a connecting wire or cable

- the shunt (low impedance device which allows current to pass from one point to another in an electrical circuit) of two consecutive wires of the fence.

The metal elements (6060 T5 aluminum posts, stainless steel screws and polyacetal insulators) ensure the longevity of DE.FI. T 3.

From the energizer or from a keypad of an alarm center, on time slots ..., it is possible to operate DE.FI.T 3 in mode:

“Detection” No pulse is sent on the wires, only detection is operational (operation during the day for example)

"Detection and deterrence" In addition to detection, pulses are added to the wires

T 3D: A FENCE WITH OPTIMAL DETECTION

The T3D mesh detector fence, with multiple possible configurations depending on the site to be protected, provides discretion and triggers the alarm even before entering the site. This system consists of multi-conductor cables trapped in horizontal tubes welded onto vertical tubes. All the cables are connected to an analysis device that allows monitoring of the system's cut or shunt. The construction of this fence therefore corresponds to a rigid and invisible mesh that will detect:

- Cutting horizontal and vertical tubes

- The tilting of the fusible flaps

- Opening of the lattice clamping profiles.

As soon as the detection loop is broken, the alarm will be transmitted via a fieldbus whose capacity allows the alarm to be reported as standard, up to 5 meters. Regarding the accuracy of the detection, it is increased by the flexibility of the system which allows, in the basic solution, to know the alarm zone to within 000 meters. Different options are also available to reinforce the system such as fixed or tilting flaps equipped with brambles, concertina, bayonet blade propeller or welded panels. The latter, to which should be added the High Adhesion plastic-coated posts on galvanized steel, also ensure longevity for T150D.
