Hager expands its Sepio alarm range

Stylish and robust, this keypad enhances Hager's Sepio alarm offering and allows you to control the alarm system from outside the home. Designed to be installed near the house, on a pillar, wall, or facade, this new outdoor keypad is wireless and operates under the TwinBand radio protocol.

A new wireless outdoor control keypad

Resistant to exposure, shocks (IK08), waterproof and dustproof (IP 54), it can also be integrated into an intercom platform. Self-protected, it locks automatically in the event of forced entry or repeated attempts to enter the code.

The new Hager outdoor keypad is multifunctional and meets all everyday usage criteria such as doorbell, access control, alarm activation and deactivation, and gate opening and closing. The user can leave their home without a key or badge and deactivate or activate the alarm and locks, simply by entering their code. For added peace of mind, the outdoor keypad provides visual confirmation after each action.

The system can be controlled using either a keypad or a badge. It is also possible to integrate a relay card that can control an electric lock or an automatic gate/door system.

Badge control allows the user to avoid the need for an access code. Up to 32 badges can be assigned with distinctive commands based on user access codes. Hager guarantees battery life and a 5-year warranty.

Combined with the coviva home automation offering, the sepio range gives users the ability to stay in touch with their home and control their system remotely, via a smartphone or tablet (connected doorbell function available in May 2017). Distance is no longer an obstacle to protecting property; users can observe what is happening in real time and control their equipment remotely with coviva.

The use of the external keypad can be combined with KNX micromodules that will allow the activation and deactivation of external lighting. It can also control external detectors from the sepio offer in order to meet all the user's needs.

The owner can thus easily upgrade his installation by gradually integrating new detectors for new functionalities.
