Hager Group aims to play a key role in the energy management sector. At the beginning of this year, the company is launching its new Hager Energy division. “Our ambition is to play a leading role in the procurement and management of renewable energies,” says Daniel Hager, Chairman of the Hager Group Executive Board. “By leveraging our broad energy management offerings, such as electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS), energy storage, and building energy management (command and control), we offer our customers a comprehensive and reliable system that combines energy consumption and environmental protection. We are thus realizing our vision to shape the electrical world of tomorrow.”

The new division operates under the name Hager Energy and targets specific market segments in Europe. It builds on the strength and complementarity of two brands: Hager and E3/DC – a subsidiary of the Hager Group. The new division, Hager Energy, is headed by Andreas Piepenbrink, Managing Director, and Rémy Becher, Chief Operating Officer. Hager Energy brings together employees who were already working on energy management projects. “We are fostering agility by uniting the E3/DC and Hager Group teams around common goals and priorities. This is essential to be a leader in this very promising and dynamic market,” comments Andreas Piepenbrink.

The cutting-edge E3/DC solutions complement Hager Group's energy management offering. With E3/DC energy storage systems, users become independent from the power grid, increasing the reliability of their supply and providing visibility into costs. Self-generated electricity, such as from photovoltaic systems, can be stored based on supply and demand.

Hager Group is a European leader in the development and production of energy management components, such as distribution boards, electric vehicle charging stations, and associated control devices and software. By pooling key skills within a dedicated department, Hager Group will offer existing and future customers highly innovative integrated solutions and services.
