Hager, partner of the international Energivie Summit congress
Organized by the Alsace Énergivie competitiveness cluster, the Energivie Summit will bring together a thousand participants on November 3, 4 and 5 in Strasbourg, alongside renowned experts from around the world, on the theme of energy transition in the renovation and construction of buildings.
Sustainable building: a growing market
Buildings are the main levers for optimizing energy efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions in cities. This sector alone accounts for 44% of total final energy consumption. Sustainable construction also poses economic challenges. Thus, the market for positive-energy buildings and energy renovation is estimated to be worth between €2 and €5 billion on average per year by 2020.
The Énergivie Summit congress is part of the perspective of the Paris Climate Conference in 2015. As such, it is placed under the sponsorship of Ségolène Royal, Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy and by Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development.
A gathering of experts

Themes such as new uses of buildings and changes in behavior, economic models and the realities of overall costs or the place of buildings in the circular economy will be developed, among others, around round tables led by internationally renowned experts. .
The expected thousand participants, industrialists, researchers, architects, construction companies, real estate developers and other construction stakeholders will thus be able to develop an international network, promote their economic development in this evolving market and be informed about the rules of the art and good practices.
