The first EPS insulation with an improved carbon footprint

DEER Isolation launches the ">1st EPS insulation with an improved carbon footprint, made from from renewable resources: organic waste of European origin! The insulation Cellomur® Ultra ECA is the first expanded polystyrene from biomass in France.

Cellomur® Ultra ECA insulation is made from second-generation organic waste, meaning non-consumable waste from the European food and forestry industries. The resulting component is perfectly safe and guarantees the same insulating qualities as conventional EPS. The panelization process is similar to the standard production cycle and does not generate any additional energy consumption. Cellomur® Ultra ECA thus benefits from a very low carbon footprint – 60% less than conventional EPS – for the same technical characteristics.
