Made of solid tungsten carbide, a material denser than steel and titanium, the SDS plus-7X drill bit is extremely robust and drills all types of reinforced concrete and rebar.



With a longer lifespan than other models on the market, the drill bit has a specially shaped 4-cutter drilling head, which ensures very high removal capacity and very low wear.

Unique welding technology for unfailing strength



To ensure a perfectly solid connection between the tungsten carbide head and the propeller, Bosch uses a unique welding technique called diffusion compaction. The resulting connection is extremely strong and durable, even under heavy use.

Unlike other drill bits on the market, the SDS plus-7X drill bit is exceptionally resistant to high temperatures of over 400°, which can occur when drilling into reinforced concrete.



Higher drilling speed



Uniquely designed, the 4-cutter head of the drill bit features flat cutting edges, unlike conventional drills whose cutting edges are oblique. This geometry allows lossless impact energy transfer and a consistently high drilling speed. Drilling is therefore significantly more efficient and faster.



A drill bit that wears less



The recesses in the head are in direct extension of the helix channels, which facilitates dust evacuation, allows faster, smoother drilling, and reduces vibrations.

This very high removal capacity makes it virtually impossible for the drill to jam. in reinforced concrete, and reduces drill wear.



Precise drilling



The SDS plus-7X drill bit has a sharp, pyramid-shaped centering tip (180°), which ensures good advancement into the material and optimal guidance (especially in reinforced concrete).



The SDS plus-7X drill bit also has a wear indicator on the tungsten carbide head. It serves as an indicator and ensures precise, perfectly round and calibrated drilling diameters.

SDS plus-7X drill bits are suitable for masonry, concrete and reinforced concrete, and for all SDS-plus rotary hammers. 

To cover all needs, The range includes 71 drill bits available in diameters ranging from 3,5 to 16 mm, length from 50 x 115 mm to 400 x 465 mm.
