fischer has ushered in a new era in the world of fixings with its Duoline range, a true technological innovation combining all the best technical features. fischer is expanding this range with the Duoblade anchor, a new dual-material self-drilling anchor with a self-drilling metal tip. This anchor is designed for fixing lightweight elements in single and even double plasterboards. It offers high performance in terms of load values and safety. Without the need for prior drilling, it significantly simplifies and reduces installation time.

A secure screw-in anchor for easy and precise installation
The fischer Duoblade self-drilling anchor is ideal for all interior design work and light applications, such as installing pictures, lighting fixtures, smoke detectors, curtain rods, blinds, mirrors, shelves, etc. in single and double-layer plasterboard. It benefits from the new design of the Duoline bi-material nylon anchors, with a compact shape and two colors (red and gray).

The red polyethylene (PE) part, characteristic of the Duoline range, provides additional security to the high-quality grey fischer nylon base body. It ensures the expansion effect, when screwing in the screw, to withstand high load values and guarantees a perfectly secure and durable hold.

The self-drilling metal tip has three sharp blades, including a centering blade. It allows for easy, very precise and clean drilling without damaging the support. In addition, this tip is slightly inclined to allow the anchor to be easily guided when mounting in thin material.

Anti-rotation lugs prevent the anchor from rotating in the support during installation or possible disassembly of the elements to be fixed. They also increase the load capacity in vertical fixings and optimize load distribution.

For added security, the nylon body of the anchor has a sharp self-tapping thread pitch allowing for a good grip and optimal locking of the anchor.

The flat collar allows for stand-by or through-hole installation.

The PZ2 screw bit is common to the screw supplied and the screwing tool: no tool changes are necessary during implementation.

Like all anchors in the Duoline range, the fischer Duoblade self-drilling anchor also offers comfort during installation with a relatively low tightening torque that increases significantly at the end of the screwing process (locking). The user then feels the anchor "pulling" and the locking sensation. They are then reassured and know that the anchor is correctly installed and anchored. This is what we call the "feel good factor".
