INNOVATION - DuoPower Anchor

Always one step ahead, fischer is opening a new era in fixing and demonstrating, once again, its capacity for innovation by introducing the DuoPower anchor to the market. Made of two materials, this true multi-material anchor is a true concentrate of technology bringing together the best characteristics in terms of load capacities and using different operating principles already proven. Innovative and intelligent, the DuoPower anchor has the particularity of adapting itself to the construction material in which it will be anchored. It expands, unfolds or forms a knot depending on the support, whether it is a solid, hollow or plate material in order to obtain the best adhesion. The fischer DuoPower anchor thus offers higher load values than conventional nylon anchors, and can cover a wide range of applications. 

Two materials for better loads and ingenious operation

Boasting a new design, a compact shape and new colours (red and grey), the new fischer DuoPower dual-material anchor combines power and intelligence. The combination of two materials (one soft and one hard) and proven operating principles delivers improved performance and significantly higher load capacity than conventional nylon anchors.

A concentrate of technology

- The high-quality grey nylon body allows for good shrinkage in hollow materials. It activates its operating principles: it expands, folds, or knots itself depending on the supporting material to ensure a perfectly secure and durable hold.

- The red polyethylene (PE) part, with its expansion fins, ensures a solid and reliable fixing in solid materials, and provides additional security to the grey body.

- Thanks to its narrow collar, the anchor is easy to pre-position , does not slip in the drill hole, and allows for pre-installation or through-installation. Installation errors are avoided.

- The anti-rotation lugs prevent the anchor from rotating in the drilled hole during installation.

- The ends are sealed to prevent drilling dust from entering the body of the plug, and allow for smooth screwing.

- Thanks to the two materials, the end of the anchor is not open , which ensures better expansion in solid materials and a higher load rate than conventional anchors.

- The DuoPower anchor allows you to use all types of wood screws.

Great installation comfort and optimal mounting security

The combination of soft and hard material allows the DuoPower anchor to be inserted very easily into the borehole without twisting and to ensure good perception of the tightening torque. The anti-rotation lock acts in the support and in the element to be fixed, thus preventing the anchor from rotating on itself. Relatively low, the tightening torque increases significantly just before the end of the screwing process (locking), the user feels that the anchor "pulls", i.e. that it is perfectly anchored and seated, this is the "feel good" factor. The fixing is secure and correct in the support.

Shorter and more compact, the DuoPower anchor reduces drilling work and thus optimizes the installation time.

A wide field of applications

Versatile and suitable for all materials, the DuoPower anchor is ideal for wood screws, chipboard screws and double-threaded screws, and works equally well in concrete, solid or hollow masonry, natural stone, particle board and plasterboard.
It can be used for a variety of applications: fixing cupboards, shelves, TV wall brackets, light fittings, roller blinds, mailboxes, bathroom fixtures, etc. 

For a 10 x 50 anchor the maximum permissible loads (taking into account safety coefficients) are 170 daN (170 kg) in concrete and 43 daN (43 kg) in hollow bricks.

The DuoPower anchor is available in diameters from 5 to 14 mm and in versions with or without screws.
