It is launching special flexible dies for portable electric crimping machines on construction sites. This innovation will have very concrete applications for many trades.

Flexible special dies that work on existing tools

With this new offering, IFT Groupe Omerin is targeting installers and integrators, particularly in developing sectors such as heat pumps and water treatment. The new special flexible dies will allow any type of hose to be crimped on-site. The tool used is standard with universal heads and pliers. As a result, many professionals already own this tool and will only have to pay for the purchase of the special flexible dies to be able to crimp their hoses as desired and to measure! IFT Groupe Omerin's trick is to use the same tool for its special flexible dies. It has simply developed the existing tooling. No need to buy a new crimping machine.

A regular, large-surface annular crimp

IFT Groupe Omerin's dies are capable of crimping EDPM rubber hoses with external braiding. There is a die for each hose diameter (DN 10, 12, 15, 20, 26, 33). At IFT Groupe Omerin, you can also purchase the complete tool, i.e., a KLAUKE K200 or K300 crimping machine with pliers and special dies incorporated. With IFT Groupe Omerin's special flexible dies, you can obtain a regular, large-surface annular crimp, which increases its efficiency.

Professionals need crimped connections on their hoses

Crimping, let us recall, fixes the fittings to the ends of a pipe in a solid, aesthetic and non-removable manner to create a new product called a flexible connection. Professional assembly requires crimped connections: the only guarantees of good repeatability and regularity in the tightening of the different elements making up a flexible hose. The quality of the crimping combined with the excellent handling of the tools (pivoting crimping head) now allows the installer to use flexible connections at all specific points of their water networks, including renovation and installation transformation.
