When building a wooden terrace on unstable ground (clay, sand, freshly filled, etc.), the installation of concrete slabs or concrete pads is necessary to prevent the pads from sinking.

Truly practical, this foundation screw is quicker and more economical to install than pouring pads or a concrete screed!

An innovative concept

With the Nivo foundation screw, there is no need to dig or pour concrete: simply screw it directly into the ground. Easy to use, this screw with harpoon tip penetrates the ground very easily.

Two elements to assemble make up this foundation screw:

- An 85 cm planting screw with a thread depth of 60 cm and a diameter of 10 cm, which ensures good load recovery between 800 kg and 1 tonne depending on the nature of the terrain.

- A height-adjustable support bracket, thanks to its 25 cm threaded rod, and in width to receive the joists and battens of the decking.

High compressive strength

The Nivo foundation screw has high compressive strength (up to 1 tonne), which allows the anchor points to be spaced 2 m apart for the joists and 1 m apart for the joists of suitable sections.

In addition, thanks to the modular dimensions of the fixing bracket, This Nivo foundation screw allows the installation of double-joist decking, reinforcing the stability of the structure and the resistance of the decking, and improves ventilation under the decking.

Quick and easy implementation, without concrete or earthworks

To simplify the implementation of the screw, Fiberdeck provides specific tools.

For manual installation: a 1,6 m screw bar, consisting of a pre-drilled height-adjustable mast and a clamping bar, is attached to the screw using bolts and nuts.

For a mechanical installation: An adapter, developed for use with a power wrench, allows for faster screwing. Three bolts and nuts secure the adapter to the screw to be driven. Screwing is faster.
