Global innovation: The Bosch GSL 2 Professional floor laser
Bosch is launching a new floor leveling tool: the Bosch GSL 2 Professional laser. Designed for floor professionals, this new tool allows for extremely precise and time-saving testing thanks to two overlapping laser lines that instantly locate floor irregularities. The GSL 2 Professional laser also offers innovative technology: automatic leveling, a 360° rotating base, a 20-meter range, and a battery compatible with all Bosch tools of the same voltage. It is very user-friendly, particularly thanks to its remote-controlled function.
Batipôle Editorial
Before laying tiles or parquet, all flooring professionals must check the flatness (bumps or dips) of the concrete screed. Until now, they have used an aluminum ruler or a spirit level. However, these tools are not suitable for quickly covering the entire surface of a room and accurately determining deviations.
Simplicity and comfort of use
For all floor professionals, the Bosch GSL 2 Professional laser offers a new technique for checking the flatness of a surface in record time and, above all, with real ease of use.
The new Bosch GSL 2 Professional floor laser is easy to use. It projects two laser lines onto the floor: if the surface is flat, the two lines overlap; if the surface is uneven, the two lines separate.
Thanks to its pendulum system, the GSL 2 Professional levels itself automatically and the user can simply choose their reference point to test flatness, for example from the meter line of each part.
The Bosch GSL 2 Professional floor laser is equipped with a 10,8 volt Lithium-Ion battery that is compatible with all professional tools of the same voltage in the Bosch range.
Sweeping the entire floor surface
Unlike the ruler method, the new Bosch GSL 2 Professional floor laser with its 360° rotating base ensures systematic inspection of the entire surface.
Using the remote control, the user can follow the laser scan through the room and identify irregularities in flatness (bumps or hollows) and mark the exact contours of areas that are not completely flat.
The new Bosch GSL 2 Professional floor laser is suitable for any room size thanks to its 20-meter range. It can be placed in the corner of a small room or in the middle of a larger space. Its 20-meter radius allows the GSL 2 Professional to cover a large area without having to be moved!
Accurate reading of deviance
With a leveling accuracy of 0,3 millimeters per meter, the new Bosch GSL 2 Professional laser meets the requirements of all floor professionals.
In the previously marked areas, the reading plate supplied with the Bosch floor laser allows you to read the deviation in millimeters of the bump or hollow from the reference point.
Users can then determine in a few seconds the actions to be taken to correct the deviations, which facilitates the leveling operation.
The new Bosch GSL 2 Professional floor laser will be available from professional dealers from June 2012. It will be delivered in a box.
