Knauf Insulation expands its TI 212 range of glass mineral wool in rolls with two new thicknesses 320 and 300 mm.

TI 212 - 320, the only reference of this thickness currently available on the market
High-performance solution for attic insulation, glass mineral wool TI 212 of 320 mm by Knauf Insulation displays a thermal resistance (Rd) of 8. It is currently the only reference of this thickness available on the market.
A new, thinner version, TI 212 300 mm, displays an Rd of 7,5.
These two new thicknesses in the range TI 212 guarantee, in a single pass, thermal insulation meeting the BBC-Effinergie label and the future RT 2012.
TI 212 320 and 300 mm are available in rolls 2 mm long and 600 mm wide.

In addition, the entire range of glass mineral wool TI 212 from Knauf Insulation has a thermal conductivity (lambda) of 0,040.

New or renovated, the complete range TI 212 from Knauf Insulation represents a high-performance thermo-acoustic solution for insulating unused attics on concrete slabs or wooden floors with a separate vapor barrier. Available in 16 thicknesses from 60 to 320 mm, TI 212 also allows the insulation of converted attics in a second pass on rafters with separate vapor barrier.
Each of the 16 products is available in rolls coated with a Kraft vapor barrier with measurement and cutting marks. They are easy to install and allow for future conversion of unused attic space.

ECOSE® Technology, a natural binder
To meet the growing need for improved installation comfort for the installer and reduced environmental impacts, Knauf Insulation designs its mineral wool with a 100% plant-based binder - a process ECOSE® Technology - made from renewable materials, completely replacing the petrochemical products traditionally used in the design of insulation.

It is worth remembering that Knauf Insulation is the first company in the world to have obtained the highest Eurofins certification, the “Indoor Air Comfort” gold medal for indoor air quality.
Like all Knauf Insulation mineral wools, the range TI 212 is certified as having a very low emission rate of volatile organic compounds.
